Description
About this Nordhavn 46′
From the cockpit you enter the cabin through a sturdy sliding door. The interior is finished in teak and the saloon and galley are on the main deck. This is a great area for dining, talking, or just relaxing. A full-length settee, custom dining table, large entertainment center/bar, armchair, and bookshelves complete this bright and airy saloon.
The galley lies athwartship to port, with a U-shape layout. Teak cabinetry, stainless appliances, abundant storage, and more counter space than most 50 footers make this galley a joy to create wonderful meals while cruising.
Steps from the saloon lead up to the pilothouse; a separate set of steps leads down to the two staterooms, two heads, and engine room.
The pilothouse provides a comprehensive and redundant selection of electronics. Just behind the instrument console is a raised settee with table which offers a comfortable gathering place while underway. The watch berth is above and aft of the settee backrest, or it can be used as additional space for cruising guides and related material.
The guest stateroom is mid-ships and the master is forward. Both have their own private heads with showers. Each stateroom is complete with large sleeping accommodations and abundant lockers and drawers, plus excellent ventilation.
The master stateroom has an Island Berth with a custom HMC mattress, small settee, two very large hanging lockers, bureau with eight drawers and mirror, four drawers under the berth and lots of additional storage. There are three overhead hatches, each fitted with new OceanAir shade/screens
The guest stateroom has upper and lower berths with an expandable lower berth, hanging locker, storage locker with drawers and custom teak book shelves.
The interior is finished in teak with teak and spruce soles. The companionway to the staterooms incorporates a separate washer and dryer. The engine room is accessed from the guest stateroom and includes the main engine on centerline, along with the generator, wing engine, Naiad stabilizers, and watermaker.
Back on deck the cockpit extends to a forward starboard side deck (covered) with steps up to the Portuguese bridge. An uncluttered foredeck makes anchoring easy. The boat deck has the tender, life raft, and deck boxes. Two remote steering stations are located on the boat deck and in the cockpit.
