ONYXIA, a beautiful 2011 twin-engine Nordhavn 60, is ready to travel the world. Her low-hour dual Lugger engines provide performance and reliability, while her twin keels give exceptional course keeping and directional stability. There’s a lot of redundancy built into this vessel: a pair of Northern Lights generators (16kW and 7kW), two watermakers, dual autopilots, and more. With three staterooms below and a fourth aft of the pilothouse (factory-built as an office), there’s plenty of space for guests or crew.
Originally specified for the European market, ONYXIA is now equally at home in US (60Hz) or European (50Hz) waters, without the complexity of a frequency converter. A brand-new Epoch lithium house bank and dual Victron Quattro inverters give her plenty of power to handle almost all of the boat’s AC loads. On top of the lithium upgrade, the current owner added Renogy solar panels and three Victron MPPT solar chargers.
