ZULU is hull number 9, the same N64 that James Knight of Yacht Tech did a walk-thru of a few years back (see link to video) and her current owners have meticulously cared for her and thoughtfully upgraded systems to achieve a N64 that stands-out among ANY Nordhavn. The N64 features a 20′-4″ beam (compared to 18′-0″ on the N63) allowing for a huge salon and well-appointed galley along with an equally impressive pilothouse which hosts a pair of helm chairs, a wrap-around settee with table, and a large watch berth aft. For accommodations, ZULU has a massive full-beam primary stateroom with ensuite head amidship, two guest staterooms with head forward and a crew’s cabin (also with a full head) just forward of the engine room. Top all of this off with a flybridge supporting 3 helm chairs and a u-shaped settee with table and you have a cruising platform that provides abundant roominess and comfort. With 5 helm stations (pilothouse, flybridge, port & starboard wing and aft cockpit) and proportional hydraulic bow & stern thrusters, the boat lends itself extremely well to close-quarter maneuvering … easily managed by a cruising couple.
