Description
Over the past 21 years Yacht Tech has been aboard and worked on most of the Nordhavn 62’s ever built. We are very excited to represent KARIWA as the latest of these iconic Nordhavns to enter the market.
It’s hard to find something on this N62 that hasn’t been rebuilt or replaced. For example, a complete rebuild of main engine (3,105 hrs SMOH), all new hydraulic lines, new Northern Lights generator, new water-maker, etc. KARIWA is truly one of the nicest, well maintained Nordhavns in existence and as such will hold her value.
Since mid-2021, KARIWA has been owned by a Master Mariner who has meticulously continued the care initiated by her previous owners. She is ready to go … ANYWHERE! The Nordhavn 62 is well known for it’s ability to circumnavigate the globe and this N62 has proven this.
Her previous travels have taken her to Russia, Siberia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. More recently, her owners took her through the Panama Canal, to Galapagos Islands, Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia and beyond … this N62 just loves to go!
The sea-keeping capabilities of the N62 are unparalleled and with a cruise speed of 9 knots, she leaves other long-range trawlers in her wake … a 1-2 knot difference over most Nordhavns means the world on a long passage.
