About this Norhavn 64′

The N64 OSO BLANCO draws on many of the elements of other Nordhavn designs, but it is also uniquely beautiful and elegant in its own special way in part to the custom raised panel Cherry cabinetry, extensive use of granite and elegant decor. The generous interior volume is made possible by the relatively high bow and extra freeboard of the overall design. Beyond the obvious advantage of providing more volume below, there are sea-keeping advantages to the high bow and deck level. The bow provides extra buoyancy when punching into large head seas, and the deck takes on less green water in high seas. Because the added height provides more volume below the cabin sole, the engine, fuel tanks and water tanks are positioned very low, ensuring superior stability. OSO BLANCO is able to use its bulletproof ‘gravity feed’ fuel system, which has proven to be extremely reliable and easy to use.

The pilothouse is located amidships for minimal motion at sea and provides excellent, 360-degree visibility. Port and starboard Dutch doors equipped with custom Phantom Roll screens provide access to the Portuguise bridge. Two full-sized helm chairs put the captain and mate comfortably in command of their ship, with all electronics and controls within sight and reach. Aft of the helm chair, a settee and table, elevated for superior visibility, will seat four crewmembers. Beneath the settee are full-sized chart drawers and additional storage. Above and aft of the settee is a double-sized pilot berth with a privacy curtain, perfect for the off-watch crew on long passages.

The spacious flying bridge is located directly over the pilothouse and will be the social center in fair weather. The flying bridge is equipped with a U shaped settee and table seating four, Norcold drinks refrigerator, Stidd helm seat and a Stidd double seat.

The main saloon opens directly to the aft cockpit, effectively expanding the living area to the outside. The salon door is equipped with a custom Phantom Roll screen. The asymmetrical cabin allows for a wider main saloon and features a wide side deck on the starboard side. There are two seating areas featuring a sofa and table to starboard and two lounge chairs to port. A 42″ plasma TV is installed on a hide-away lift and it linked to the Bose sound system. Three bar chairs face the pass-through counter top in the galley, which is just forward of the saloon. The galley rivals today’s finest gourmet kitchen with its full-sized home-style appliances, abundant storage cabinets and generous granite counter space.

The owner’s stateroom is located amidships, where the motion is minimal during passages and at anchor. A king sized walk-around berth, huge hanging lockers, custom cabinetry and a master head finished with granite competes the room and compares to the finest hotel suite. The two guest staterooms forward, one with a double berth and one with twins, share a large head and shower.

The crew cabin is below and amidships just forward of the engine room and has an upper an lower berth, drawer storage and a hanging locker. A full head and shower is located opposite to starboard. The crew area also houses the washer and dryer, wine cooler, freezer, electric panel and inverter control panels.
