Description

“Tango” is a beast of an expedition trawler while at the same time, maintaining the beauty and elegance of a well appointed luxury yacht.

This magnificent 76′ Passage Maker, has an uncompromising fit and finish which has been meticulously cared for by her long time live-aboard owners. With over 8 years of cruising aboard Tango, covering nearly 50,000 nautical miles from Alaska to Maine, transiting the Panama Canal three times, Tango is well suited for the rugged transits up and down the Pacific coast, out on open ocean and also in the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Fitted with the best machinery, equipment and electronics, she will take you anywhere !

Tango has many modifications and upgrades not seen on other Nordhavn 76’s, making her an ideal choice if you are in the market for a Nordhavn 76.

Tango is a 76′ Aft Pilothouse Nordhavn with an extended swim step for an overall length of 78′. The vessel has a large cockpit, a full walk around on the starboard side and a partial walk around on the port side. The interior of the vessel is accessed through PCM, powder coated Dutch Doors on either Port or Starboard or from the aft cockpit into the Salon. The cockpit sole and swim step are teak and were refinished and re-caulked in 2015. The hull and deck Gelcoat are in immaculate condition. Her bottom paint and Prop Speed were applied in late 2016.

Tango has a stunning Cherry Wood interior and soft goods package, elegantly detailed by the award winning yacht interior designer, Scott Cole. The salon and dining area feature loose furniture for maximum flexibility with tie downs for ocean passages. The bar features 3 custom Crown Bar Stools and the salon, dining area and aft deck are ideal for entertaining large groups. The dining table can be enlarged to seat 10 people. The present owners have hosted parties for as many as 35 guests.

The galley is thoughtfully appointed with commercial appliances, a custom pantry and generous storage areas.

Tango’s top-of-the-line machinery has been carefully maintained and is in excellent working order. Her twin MTU series 60, 475hp engines, allow her to cruise easily at 9.5 knots and will push her to a max speed of 12 knots. Her Twin Disc transmissions are equipped with optional trolling valves, allowing her to slow to ideal fishing speeds for long periods.

Tango is surely one of the nicest, cleanest, best equipped Nordhavn 76/78’s that we have seen at our docks for a long time.
